Thought that taking these was going to create a placebo effect for me at first, but after taking them multiple times they really do work. I like these because they leave me feeling drowsy enough to fall asleep at night, but I don't feel all the yuckiness and grogginess in the morning. It is just enough to get the job done! After getting used to these and they go through your system you start feeling the increase of your energy, does not give the coffee jitters , very easy to consume and don't have that strong mini energy drinks have.

This is a unique way to take a mild sleep aid. They come in a metal, hinged box; inside are 30 strips, each in individual packets. These only contain 1mg of melatonin so you are not getting a monster dose, but there are other supplemental botanical herbs which help induce sleep so it's a rather unique formula. They dissolve easily and the raspberry flavor is pleasant. The packets warn you not to take more than one per day. I suppose they have their reasons for putting this warning on there. This is a supplement that I will use as a middle of the night sleep aid. I like a bit stronger of a dosage of melatonin towards the beginning of the evening but find that a small dosage works better for midnight-3am wakings and is less likely to leave me feeling too groggy in the morning. This item came just in time, as I had friends visiting and we planned to do some drinking. First, it comes in a very nice travel tin so you can the strips with you anywhere. Second, it tastes DELICIOUS! I was wary at first but it's actually quite good. I took one after I drank and I do think it helped make my icky hangover less intense. A great product to have on hand!
As someone who doesn't drink a lot, I was intrigued by these Pre-Party Strips. I might drink 1-2 drinks a week, and do get a headache as a result frequently. So I tried this strip, which is like a thin fruit roll up square (remember those?) and it tasted good. It took a few minutes for it to dissolve, and then the experiment was on. I drank 1.5 hard seltzers over a 2 hour period. I think I did okay! I woke up the next day and felt fine, which was nice. These strips are easy to toss in your wallet or purse.
It's really hard to objectively tell how much these help prevent hangovers without doing some real experiments, also the placebo effect is very real. But anecdotally, these do seem to have helped me feel better on days after drinking where I expected to wake up feeling much worse. I was looking up the ingredients, and they do seem legitimate. I found a patent for this combination of ingredients from 2005 that claims it helps prevent alcohol induced hangovers. I haven't noticed any negative side effects from taking these, so overall I think I'm pretty satisfied and will continue taking them for nights of heavier drinking
Not bad tasting and it does dissolve rather quickly and provides a nice quick pick me up. Much more convenient than those small bottles of energy shots. Wish each strip had a bit more caffeine in each strip though. Maybe a higher caffeine version next?
